Patricia
has a doctorate from the Department of
Chemical Engineering at the University of Newcastle and has worked with
C4ES
since 2000.
Patricia works with industry and governments at
all levels to improve their environmental performance, particularly in
relation
to resource management and recovery.
This has included advice and research into currently
available and
emerging resource recovery technologies.
Patricia also assists companies and government to
incorporate
environmental performance indicators, such as greenhouse gas emissions
and
resource recovery, into their reporting frameworks.
Community consultation and education regarding
recovery initiatives form part of her work, from which she has
developed a keen
understanding of the role of public support in the development of new
methods
of resource recovery.
She is the Secretary
of the National Energy from Waste Division of the Waste Management
Association
of Australia (WMAA) and is also on the Steering Committee of WMAA’s
National
Carbon Committee.
